Twin Peaks

img_0355Twin Peaks are two hills located in the geographic center of San Francisco. This location is most famous for its breathtaking view that overlooks the city. Both the day and night view from these prominent peaks is spectacular. This destination can be a hit or miss depending on the day, so make sure to check the weather forecast before driving up. When the fog comes in, the only view you’ll get is fog. On a clear day, you’ll get to see the whole city, including both the bay bridge and the golden gate bridge, and even across the bay.
The North and South Twin Peaks are also known as “Eureka” and “Noe.” it is said that the peaks used to  be used as a lookout spot for native Ohlone people and that Spanish conquistadores named these peaks the Breasts of the Indian maiden.
